Rule of 22

1. Compute total of following 3 items:
   
   
   • High Card Points
   • Number of cards in 2 longest suits
   • Number of Quick Tricks
   
   
2. If total is 22 or more --- open the bidding
   
   
3. Otherwise:   do NOT open with 1 of a suit
